In case you were all wondering, Jason Daugherty and Katie Layous flew me out to San Francisco for the day to capture some incredible moments between them. San Francisco holds a special place in their hearts—it’s where their journey began, from friendship to dating, and now to soon-to-be husband and wife. Each location we visited for photos has its own special significance, creating a beautiful tapestry of memories that tell their unique love story. And now, after our day together, Chinatown has become a fun, new addition to their shared experiences!
Jason and Katie’s love story began at Facebook (the physical location, not the website!), where they first met and quickly realized they were meant for each other. From there, their connection deepened, and they eventually moved in together at a gorgeous apartment right across from Lafayette Park. It wasn’t long before Jason popped the question—on a random hike near the Golden Gate Bridge, Jason, with a bit of nervousness, proposed to Katie, and of course, she said yes!
Now, the countdown is on as they prepare to celebrate their love with family and friends. I absolutely cannot wait for the moment when these two amazing people join hands and become husband and wife!
